DESCRIPTION:With more than two decades of stage experience in a variety of professional musical projects\, Robin Hathaway introduced her original blues band in the fall of 2022\, writing music for the first time after years of singing others’ music. After spending over a year living in the birthplace of the blues\, Clarksdale\, Mississippi\, from late 2020- 2021\, Robin’s love for the blues grew by leaps and bounds while she was fortunate enough to share stages with some notable blues artists including Watermelon Slim\, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram\, and Garry Burnside. She has a way of connecting with her audiences on a deep level from the first song to the last. Expect a high-energy mix of danceable originals and tasteful covers.

McCarthy to play music\, including; blues\, folk/country/americana\, funk\, country\, extended jazzy jams etc. The band may be acoustic or electric depending on the event and/or situation. The music is a mix of original music and songs from our favorite artists; (B.Dylan\, B.B.King\, J. Hendrix\, Blues Standards\, G. Dead\, E. Clapton\, J. Cash\, W. Nelson\, etc.\n\n\nThere is rarely a setlist and the performances are never the same twice\, as there is much interpretation and improvisation is favored over imitation.
