DESCRIPTION:Megan Chenot\n\n\nSOLO VOICE & GUITAR\n\n\nAfter traveling throughout the US and Europe with New England R&B and swing legends Eight to the Bar\, the singer-guitarist began a solo career playing both covers and originals from the East Coast to the West Coast with stops in Mexico and the Caribbean. Her work as a solo performer includes gear demos for BOSS\, Roland and Sennheiser at The NAMM Show in Anaheim\, and VIP Lounge performances for Live Nation before concerts by Richard Marx\, Rick Springfield\, and John Mayer. \n​ \nUsing a looping pedal on her vocals (unlike most solo players\, who loop the guitar)\, Megan creates intricate harmonies live. Her set is chock full of “all spice\, no filler” – (Hartford Advocate)\, as her extraordinarily versatile voice moves seamlessly from classic rock to jazz to Motown to pop. Playing an eclectic mix of cover tunes from every decade of the last century\, Megan loves tailoring her set to the taste of the crowd\, taking requests and covering popular tunes and hidden gems with equal ease. \n​ \nNow based in Rhode Island\, Megan currently plays as a member of Sister Willow\, LOVEFOX\, and acclaimed party band The Sultans. As a solo artist\, Megan performs regularly at a diverse range of venues\, from bars and restaurants to country clubs and vineyards; from cocktail hours to happy hours. Destination shows include luxury resorts (including three Club Med properties outside the USA)\, private and corporate events\, and weddings in Newport\, Block Island\, Martha’s Vineyard\, and beyond.  \n\n
