The core members have been together for over 20 years; Tim Lindsey (guitar & vocals)\, James “Killer” Kane (harp) and Charlie Huntington (keyboard). Over the last few years\, the band has made several changes. Fred Mielbye (bass) and George Correia (drums) lay down the rhythm section while the soulful voice of Jeff Davis lights the stage on fire. \nIn 2010 the band hit the number one spot on Cashbox Magazines; “Roadhouse Blues & Boogie” chart. DESCRIPTION:The40 has been on the scene since November of 2018 playing music that covers Rhythm and Blues and Rock n’ Roll with a powerful dose of funky Soul. \nThe40 is comprised of veteran musicians who come from various areas of the country and have blended together a powerful sound that has audiences moving and grooving! \nRay Davis – Bass/Vocals – A versatile vocalist and solid bass player who has been a fixture of the New England music scene for decades.  He is a Founding member of The40 and previously performed in Rhode Island’s premier Beatles Band\, Abbey Rhode.  Also performed with Blueblood\, Little Brother\, Radio Ranch\, Detroit Street\, The Kevin Sullivan Band and TheNew40.  Ray hails from the Cleveland/Kent/Akron Ohio area where he played professionally before relocating to Rhode Island and has opened for Buddy Guy\, Junior Wells\, NRBQ\, Dave Mason\, Chuck Mangione\, Roomful of Blues\, Ronnie Earl\, The Guess Who\, John Entwistle etc. \nNick Manousos – Guitar/Vocals – Nick\, is a veteran Blues style/Rock guitarist who grew up in Northern California before moving to Dallas\, Texas as a long-time member of the notorious\, Vince Vance and the Valiants. As a testament to their recording success and national popularity\, Vince Vance and The Valiants were inducted into the 2010 Louisiana Music Hall of Fame\, (past inductees include\, Dr. John\, The Neville Bros.\, Elvis\, Jerry Lee Lewis\, Fats Domino and The Meters).  The real question is Nick a six string Jedi-master or Texas Tsunami?   YOU BE THE JUDGE! \nAlex Radiches – Drums -Alex picked up his first pair of drumsticks at age 10 and has been keeping the beat since.  A graduate of Berklee College of Music\, he is best known for his versatility and passion for playing.  Well versed in jazz\, blues\, rock and soul\, Alex has played with Valvatross\, The Stormin’ Horns\, the Pontiac Blues Band\, Hurricane and Barkode Jazz Trio.  His keen ability to read charts\, coupled with his knowledge of just about every musical genre\, keeps Alex in demand as a “go to” sub for many bands\, including studio recording. \nTom Shaheen – Harmonica/Vocals – A Boston area veteran powerhouse harp player who has shared the stage with James Cotton and fronted the Diving Ducks Blues Band\, opening for local hero James Montgomery amongst others. He has also performed with The Muddy Wolf Blues Band and Midnight Snack.  Tom’s main influences are harmonica greats: Mark Ford\, Kim Wilson\, Paul Butterfield\, Lester Butler and Richard Calitri. \nKevin Simon – Keyboards – A New Englander before moving to Austin\, Texas in his early twenties with The Big Nasty.  Toured all over the Southwest and did a European tour with Chuck Berry.  Moved from Austin to Philadelphia and played in numerous funk and soul bands before moving back to Austin for more Southwest touring.  Now back in Rhode Island\, a freelance musician playing with The40 and doing session work.

DESCRIPTION:The40 has been on the scene since November of 2018 playing music that covers Rhythm and Blues and Rock n’ Roll with a powerful dose of funky Soul. \nThe40 is comprised of veteran musicians who come from various areas of the country and have blended together a powerful sound that has audiences moving and grooving! \nRay Davis – Bass/Vocals – A versatile vocalist and solid bass player who has been a fixture of the New England music scene for decades.  He is a Founding member of The40 and previously performed in Rhode Island’s premier Beatles Band\, Abbey Rhode.  Also performed with Blueblood\, Little Brother\, Radio Ranch\, Detroit Street\, The Kevin Sullivan Band and TheNew40.  Ray hails from the Cleveland/Kent/Akron Ohio area where he played professionally before relocating to Rhode Island and has opened for Buddy Guy\, Junior Wells\, NRBQ\, Dave Mason\, Chuck Mangione\, Roomful of Blues\, Ronnie Earl\, The Guess Who\, John Entwistle etc. \nNick Manousos – Guitar/Vocals – Nick\, is a veteran Blues style/Rock guitarist who grew up in Northern California before moving to Dallas\, Texas as a long-time member of the notorious\, Vince Vance and the Valiants. As a testament to their recording success and national popularity\, Vince Vance and The Valiants were inducted into the 2010 Louisiana Music Hall of Fame\, (past inductees include\, Dr. John\, The Neville Bros.\, Elvis\, Jerry Lee Lewis\, Fats Domino and The Meters).  The real question is Nick a six string Jedi-master or Texas Tsunami?   YOU BE THE JUDGE! \nAlex Radiches – Drums -Alex picked up his first pair of drumsticks at age 10 and has been keeping the beat since.  A graduate of Berklee College of Music\, he is best known for his versatility and passion for playing.  Well versed in jazz\, blues\, rock and soul\, Alex has played with Valvatross\, The Stormin’ Horns\, the Pontiac Blues Band\, Hurricane and Barkode Jazz Trio.  His keen ability to read charts\, coupled with his knowledge of just about every musical genre\, keeps Alex in demand as a “go to” sub for many bands\, including studio recording. \nTom Shaheen – Harmonica/Vocals – A Boston area veteran powerhouse harp player who has shared the stage with James Cotton and fronted the Diving Ducks Blues Band\, opening for local hero James Montgomery amongst others. He has also performed with The Muddy Wolf Blues Band and Midnight Snack.  Tom’s main influences are harmonica greats: Mark Ford\, Kim Wilson\, Paul Butterfield\, Lester Butler and Richard Calitri. \nKevin Simon – Keyboards – A New Englander before moving to Austin\, Texas in his early twenties with The Big Nasty.  Toured all over the Southwest and did a European tour with Chuck Berry.  Moved from Austin to Philadelphia and played in numerous funk and soul bands before moving back to Austin for more Southwest touring.  Now back in Rhode Island\, a freelance musician playing with The40 and doing session work.

DESCRIPTION:The NM Problem/Band is any group of musicians put together by Neal T. McCarthy to play music\, including; blues\, folk/country/americana\, funk\, country\, extended jazzy jams etc. The band may be acoustic or electric depending on the event and/or situation. The music is a mix of original music and songs from our favorite artists – B.Dylan\, B.B.King\, J. Hendrix\, Blues Standards\, G. Dead\, E. Clapton\, J. Cash\, W. Nelson\, etc. \nThere is rarely a setlist and the performances are never the same twice\, as there is much interpretation and improvisation is favored over imitation. OUTCRY has played throughout RI\, CT\, and MA sharing their energy and love of music with great crowds and diverse venues. The quality of music\, passion\, and dynamic sound that OUTCRY puts out will surely get you singing and up dancing!! \nOUTCRY consists of Rob Ellis\, lead vocals and harmonica and Keith Bradley\, guitar\, kick drum and backup vocals. Rob is the former lead singer of an original hard rock band Mutha Ugly and former frontman of an Alice in Chains tribute band that played in popular venues throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Keith has been playing acoustic guitar for over 20 years within various acts and his passion for music comes through his guitar play at every show. \nIn the time they’ve been together\, Rob and Keith have accumulated hundreds of songs that range from classic rock to current music. OUTCRY continuously add to their repertoire to put on a diverse exciting show.
